Goldvein provides educational maps, geology notes, seasonal guidance, and field tools for recreational prospecting. It is not a survey, legal opinion, claim title report, investment advice, or guarantee of gold recovery.
Coordinates & maps
Site markers and waterway paths are approximate corridor centers for learning and trip planning. Always verify location, access, and hazards on the ground and with official maps.
Claims & land status
Mining claims, private property, tribal lands, parks, and forest rules change. You are solely responsible for confirming land ownership, claim status, and allowed methods before any excavation. Trespassing and claim jumping are illegal.
Safety
Prospecting involves remote terrain, water, weather, wildlife, and physical risk. You assume all risk of injury, loss, or death arising from use of this app or any field activity inspired by it. Tell someone your plan; carry water, navigation, and first aid.

Gold spot figures and journal value estimates are demo / illustrative unless otherwise stated. They are not a live market feed and should not be used for financial decisions.
Acceptable use
Do not use Goldvein to facilitate illegal mining, environmental damage, or harassment of claim holders or land managers. Leave no trace; fill holes; pack out trash.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Goldvein and its publishers are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages from use of the app, including but not limited to lost finds, equipment damage, fines, or injuries.
